besides that...i love to spend time with jan..where we just sit at home watching TV or listens to radio..one more thing i hope to do is that she plays the piano while i just sit there and relax while listening to the sweet melody..hehe
i like playing sports games like badminton, basketball, swimming and cycling...watching movies and sport games that i know...sleeping sometimes...talking crap with close friends (is the most enjoyable moments)...blasting music...sometimes just like to isolate myself
from everyone so that i can have my own sweet time without being disturbed =)

| i'm so sorry to lawyers out there...but this is a real funny forwarded email i received. KJ (you are the only lawyer friend i can think of now)...please forgive me =P
Send to your lawyer friends and humour them J One afternoon a wealthy lawyer was riding in his limousine when he saw two men along the roadside eating grass.
Disturbed, he ordered his driver to stop and he got out to investigate.
He asked one man ' Why are you eating grass? '
' We don ' t have any money for food, ' the poor man replied. ' We have to eat grass. '
' Well, then, you can come with me to my house and I ' ll feed you ' , the lawyer said.
' But sir, I have a wife and two children with me. They are over there, under that tree ' .
' Bring them along, ' the lawyer replied..
Turning to the other poor man he stated, ' You come with us also. '
The second man, in a pitiful voice then said, ' But sir, I also have a wife and SIX children with me! '
' Bring them all, as well, ' the lawyer answered.
They all entered the car, which was no easy task, even for a car as large as the limousine was.. Once underway, one of the poor fellows turned to the lawyer and said, ' Sir, you are too kind. Thank you for taking all of us with you. '
The lawyer replied, ' Glad to do it. You ' ll really love my place; the grass is almost 1 metre high! '

| yesterday my blog post didn't turn up (wonder if it's because of what i wrote).. but anyhowz, i'm trying to replicate what i typed.. if you can still recall, i attended 2 good buddies' wedding 2 weekends ago. although i told you that both bride and groom gave each other surprises, i "failed" to tell you that i had a few surprises of my own ! firstly, a kawaii young kiddo i know from church (well, technically he's only a few years younger than i am), took a peach rose from a bouquet and wordlessly passed it to me ! ME ~! i was like SO SO TOUCHED dude !!!! then, another leng chai was carrying 2 bouquets of flowers and was like "OH MAN, i cannot see my way" and happily bumped me on the head with the flowers coz i was standing in front of him ! i was like "what da ?" i asked my sis if he always kacaus me at weddings (coz he usually does..).. her response : he just likes to kacau you. period ! hahahaha ~ THEN HOR ~! a youth whom i rarely talked to saw me and went 'wow, you look nice'... (trust me, it was because of the dress) my conclusion ? people are just uber sweet at weddings. but when we meet in church, we return to being our usual stoic selves =p but that doesn't stop me from feeling flattered... =p p/s : in case you were wondering, jccy already knows everything i've mentioned above.. in fact, i tell him day in day out *giggles* sadly, the peach rose died last week, much to my dismay.. ah jan, who's still reeling from the loss of her peach rose as illustrated on fb. | | |
| firstly i'm saddened to hear of yasmin ahmad's death.. secondly i'm super worried for felipe massa. thanks to ruben barrichello's spring that hit his helmet, massa suffered skull fracture and is now in induced coma... thirdly, it was a superb wedding yday ! i was so touched to see both bride and groom giving each other unexpected surprises. and the best men's speech was the best i've heard :) gotta wake up super early tomorrow as i need to be in office by 8.15am ! man !!!! hope everyone had a great weekend ! ah jan | | |
| thanks to all for the birthday wishes. this year's birthday meant a lot to me as my sole prayer was for 2 close friends. on sunday when my friend shared his testimony, there was no dry eye around me. i left sobbing.. so anyway, about my burpday... the best part was when my parents came up to have dinner with me. so sweet of them !!! thanks pama !!! we had NZN (my daddy had an entire tub !) then we had dinner at dragon-i. =) then they asked me the ultimate Question : "WHAT DO YOU WANT FOR YOUR BIRTHDAY ?"... til now, i have no answer.. nyahahahah ! jccy got me a techy gadget for my burpday. i burst into tears upon seeing it.. so kam tung ! thanks dear =) for those who are itching to know what i got, meet up with me then you can see it lor.. hehehe !! work has seriously been pretty bad, added to the fact that i get the occassional sour graped audit customer who has no courtesy. oh well ~~ the weekend's here ! 2 of my close friends are getting married.. and i'm in charge of counting the ang pao money coz i'm supposedly the auditor ! nyahahahah ~~ enjoy the weekend buddies =) ah jan | | |
| no words can describe how awkward i felt, just like how no words can express how i feel after i heard the news. tears of sorrow were brimming on my eyes when i heard your story, and tears are flowing freely when you are not around to see. you were the one who threw me a surprise birthday party last year, you were the one who helped me surprise my sis on her burpday, you were the one who gave me advice when i was going thru a rough patch, you were the one who got me a surprise christmas gift, you were the one who brought me shopping when i needed retail therapy badly.. you were the one who housed jccy and i... 1 general email was all it took for you to know how i felt - be it happy or sad.. but although i know how unhappy you are right now, it pains my heart that there is nothing more that i can do for you apart from praying and a lil charles&keith paper bag. as i approach this sunday, my birthday wish is solely for you this year. there is nothing more i would want than to see you and hubby find real joy, as you two are the joys in mine and many others. i have to pen these words as i cannot bring myself to tell you upfront for fear of insensitivity. you may probably never know of this blog entry, but it's okay. just as long as you know where to find me if you need me. =) love you both, ah jan | | |
